Massage School Entrance Requirements
Different massage therapy school will have somewhat different entrance requirements. Ingeneral, most massage schools have basic educational and physical requirements for entrance, including a high school diploma and enough physical ability to perform the duties of a massage therapist.
Most massage therapy colleges require applicants to have at least a high school diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) and be at least eighteen years of age. High school students may need to take at least one year each of high school biology, chemistry and physics, and mathematics through algebra. The ability in psychology or business may also be considered as an entrance requirement.

Some schools may also require prior knowledge or training in certain subject areas

- Pass a criminal background check.
- Demonstrate sufficient maturity to undertake a healthcare profession, including the capacity to ethically and responsibly manage professional boundaries.
